Emily Freya Interiors, our partner interior design company, is mentioned in Hello! magazine this week. Their client Aruna Seth has a six page article which was shot at her London home for which Emily Freya Interiors were commissioned.
The brief:
To design a luxurious white apartment. The inside fabric for Aruna’s bespoke bed drapes was hand printed to match the gold highlights in the hand carved griege corona (not seen) and tie backs.
The September data from Land Registry's House Price Index shows an annual price increase of 3.4 per cent which takes the average property value in England and Wales to £167,063. The monthly change from August to September shows an increase of 1.5 per cent. Repossession volumes decreased by 28 per cent in July 2013 to 1,187 compared with 1,645 in July 2012.
•The region in England and Wales which experienced the greatest increase in its average property value over the last 12 months is London with a movement of 9.3 per cent.
•The North East experienced the greatest monthly rise with a movement of 2.7 per cent.
•The only region with an annual price fall is Wales with a decrease of 1.7 per cent.
•Wales saw the most significant monthly price fall with a decrease of 0.4 per cent.
•The most up-to-date figures available show that during July 2013, the number of completed house sales in England and Wales increased by 17 per cent to 69,140 compared with 59,141 in July 2012.
•The number of properties sold in England and Wales for over £1 million in July 2013 increased by 34 per cent to 1,143 from 852 in July 2012.
•The region with the greatest fall in the number of repossession sales was the North East where repossessions dropped by 56 per cent (25 in July 2013 compared with 57 in July 2012).

The October data from Land Registry's House Price Index shows an annual price increase of 3.1 per cent which takes the average property value in England and Wales to £165,515. The monthly change from September to October shows a decrease of 0.2 per cent. Repossession volumes decreased by 29 per cent in August 2013 to 1,200 compared to 1,682 in August 2012.
• The region in England and Wales which experienced the greatest increase in its average property value over the last 12 months is London with a movement of 8.7 per cent
• Wales experienced the greatest monthly rise with a movement of 2.4 per cent.
• The region with the greatest annual price fall is the North East with a decrease of 0.8 per cent.
• The North East also saw the most significant monthly price fall with a movement of -3.1 per cent.
• The most up-to-date figures available show that during August 2013 the number of completed house sales in England & Wales increased by 15 per cent to 74,767 compared with 65,014 in August 2012
• The number of properties sold in England and Wales for over £1 million in August 2013 increased by 27 per cent to 1,104 from 871 in August 2012
• The region with the greatest fall in the number of repossession sales was the South East where repossessions dropped by 41 per cent (115 in August 2013 compared with 196 in August 2012)

The monthly change from October to November shows an increase of 0.1 per cent. Repossession volumes decreased by 23 per cent in September 2013 to 1,036 compared to 1,337 in September 2012.
• The region in England and Wales which experienced the greatest increase in its average property value over the last 12 months is London with a movement of 10.6 per cent
• London also experienced the greatest monthly rise with a movement of 1.8 per cent.
• The only region with an annual price fall is the North East with a decrease of 1.6 per cent.
• The East saw the most significant monthly price fall with a movement of -0.7 per cent.
• The most up-to-date figures available show that during September 2013 the number of completed house sales in England & Wales increased by 24 per cent to 65,378 compared with 52,870 in September 2012
• The number of properties sold in England and Wales for over £1 million in September 2013 increased by 60 per cent to 1,020 from 639 in September 2012
• The region with the greatest fall in the number of repossession sales was the South East where repossessions dropped by 39 per cent (112 in September 2013 compared with 185 in September 2012).
